Find freedom and ease in your voice

Whether you’re a professional singer, speaker, or someone experiencing vocal tension, Laryngeal Manual Therapy (LMT) can help restore balance, comfort, and efficiency in your voice production.

LMT is a specialised hands-on technique designed to release tension in the muscles around the larynx (voice box), neck, and jaw. These muscles can become tight due to voice overuse , stress, insufficient technique, or inury - leading to vocal fatigue, strain, discomfort, or changes in voice quality, range and tone.

What to expect in a session?

Your vocal issues will be discussed with the therapist and an assessment and consultation are  always included in your initial session.

Gentle manual techniques are applied to the throat, jaw, and surrounding muscles to release tension and promote freedom of movement and these may be combined with voice exercises for optimal results.

Sessions are totally planned around the client's presented needs and take a holistic bio-psycho-social approach. The therapist will explain everything thoroughly throughout the session and all manoeuvres performed will be done with your continuous consent.
